Environmental and Social Responsibility

Vira Vira is introducing all guests to their local upliftment projects. There are unforgettable and educational opportunities for the culture enthusiasts to not only learn from, but also give back to, the local people. Vira's community development projects include conservation lessons for local children and a reforestation project. Explore the fascinating cultural and culinary heritage of Chile’s indomitable Mapuche people. Enjoy lunch at a traditional ruka (house) and learn about their unique ways of life first hand. Visit a Mapuche weaver and watch her time-honoured traditional skill as she works with the loom.

Farm to table

A modern working farm, organic vegetable garden and state-of-the- art cheese factory complete the estate. The highly trained executive chef and his team embrace the farm- to-table concept. Inspired by the different seasons, the cuisine is pure and authentic with mouth-watering meals infused with the delectable flavours of Southern Chile. These are complimented by local wines recommended by our sommelier.
