About The Hotel

The hotel lies on the Vigilio mountain, called Monte San Vigilio. This South Tyrol gem can be reached exclusively by a cable car. It offers a free wellness center with various spa treatments, and 2 restaurants. All spacious rooms at Vigilius Mountain Resort are built from sustainable, natural materials. Each room has parquet floors and a furnished balcony or patio. Some rooms offer panoramic views of the Dolomites.

In addition to skiing for all levels, Lana is the ideal starting point for many cycling and hiking routes in South Tyrol, such as the sunny Tappeinerweg trail, a 19th-century landscaped botanical trail with over 400 labeled tree and shrub specimens.

Sustainable Initiatives

Environmental and Social Responsibility

The hotel, spa, and the restaurant are engineered with the environment in focus, applying low-energy construction, technology, and locally sourced materials with the minimum impact on Monte San Vigilio's wild landscape. The hotel has been awarded by the Earth Check Gold Sustainable Certification. The award reflects the hotel's unwavering commitment to sustainability, by making positive changes to reduce the environmental footprint and improve social impact. The hotel uses biomass for fuel, sourcing wood chips from the local farmers, providing them with a valuable income source, whilst protecting the forests. The hotel also employs the latest tech to measure its consumption, impact and future improvements to its ecological footprint. The hotel is on a pathway to becoming even more sustainable, banning plastic packaging, avoiding single-use plastics and helping to develop biodegradable options.
