About The Hotel

Nestled on the mountainside on the edge of the Arosa forest, nature meets iconic modernity at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel. Arosa has been loved by winter sports fans for generations. From your own private railway to Arosa Lenzerheide to the on-site ski shop, the adventure begins before you even leave the hotel grounds. Enjoy access to pistes and hiking trails from your own private mountain railway.

The 128 rooms and suites of the five-star establishment offer a cosy residential experience with a unique view of the Arosa mountains.

The 5,000 m2 Tschuggen Bergoase spa, designed by star architect Mario Botta, was built entirely into the mountain and offers four floors of outstanding wellness.

Guests can enjoy healthy, market-fresh dishes, haute cuisine as well as fine fast food in its four restaurants.

Environmental Responsibility

The Tschuggen Grand Hotel has been awarded by the Green Globe Sustainable Certification and became 100% climate neutral. The award reflects the resort unwavering commitment to sustainability, by making positive changes to reduce the environmental footprint and improve social impact. A glass water-bottling system is in place to remove the requirement for disposable plastic water bottles, allowing the Resort to refrain from using any plastic bottles. To keep your stay climate neutral, the hotel contributes to carefully selected carbon offset programmes, including rewilding alpine wetlands and supporting the Virunga mountain gorilla project in Rwanda.
