Sustainable Initiatives

Environmental and Social Responsibility

The Sukosol Group, and Sukosol family have long been synonymous with charity work in Thailand. In 2009 the family was named as one of Forbes Asia’s “48 Heroes of Philanthropy” as annual charity concerts have raised more than 75 million baht for various charities over the years. Besides putting on regular charity concerts, art exhibitions and other fundraising events, the family are ambassadors for a range of causes, including the Ramathibodi Foundation’s Liver Transplant from Parent-to-Child Program, the Chulalongkorn Craniofacial Centre and Friends of the Asian Elephant Foundation (FAE). As with all Sukosol Hotels, the owners, staff and management are firmly committed to protecting the environment and consistently upgrading the “green” standards of all of its businesses. The Siam has eliminated all single use plastic bottles. As part of this initiative we are one of the first hotels in Thailand to sign up to the RefillNotLandgill program which encourages use of refillable water containers.
