Sustainable Initiatives

Environmental Responsibility

The Palmaia is committed to sustainability, by making positive changes to reduce the environmental footprint and improve social impact. The resort has eliminated all plastic water bottles in the hotel and replaced with glass bottles that are filled with water from an in-house water bottling plant, while plastic vanity products have been replaced with biodegradable alternatives. With the goal to reduce its environmental footprint up to 50%, Palmaia is a forerunner in the field. The menu designed by resort's Chefs will focus on traditional plant based cuisine and innovative creations utilizing local ingredients sourced from their own gardens and local producers.
