Farm to table

A vibrant garden, team of local farmers and passionate chefs inspire dishes that tell a new story of Rwanda every day of the year. Selected with care and attention, no ingredient is ever left behind but instead nurtures new culinary creations. Explore resort's bountiful vegetable garden with Executive Chef Brandon Souris as he introduces you to the sustainable ingredients that inspire resaturant's dishes. Handpick edible flowers, vegetables and herbs that craft a sumptuous traditional lunch prepared and served under the avocado tree.

Tea time

One&Only Nyungwe House is set within a tea plantation on the edge of Nyungwe National Park. The resort supports local tea pickers, working with Nyungwe Cultural Village Cooperative who pick tea at the plantation. Tea pickers also share the journey of the tea leaf with guests, from harvesting techniques to tastings and tours of Gisakura Tea Factory.
