About The Hotel

Fondly known as the “City of Lakes”, Udaipur, the erstwhile capital of the Kingdom of Mewar, is resplendent with vast hilltop forts, palaces, temples and gardens that serve as reminders of its majestic history. Located on the banks of Lake Pichola, this 5 star hotel is spread over 200,000 square meters of luxuriant gardens, with an intricate layout of interconnecting domes and corridors that reflect the layout of Udaipur itself; whose seven lakes are linked by canals.

The interiors, embellished with decorative domes, hand painted frescoes, intricate mirror work and beautifully crafted artifacts, create an ambience of regal splendour. The hotel's 90 rooms have terraces that open on to semi-private swimming pools and exquisite views. Inside, décor is decidedly opulent, featuring inlaid furniture, Rajput inspired decoration and marble bathrooms. The hotel's magnificently decorated suites are a real treat, not least thanks to their private swimming pools and outdoor dining pavilions.

Social Responsibility

On 19th November 2014, The Oberoi Group commenced a partnership with SOS Children's Villages with the objective of supporting the education and well being of underprivileged children, a primary principle of the Company's CSR policy. SOS Children's Villages provide family-based care for parentless, homeless or abandoned children, as well as a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where vulnerable children can access education, nutrition, healthcare, and family-based care. Each village consists of 12-15 homes, with every home accommodating up to ten children and an SOS ‘mother’. The children stay in these family homes under the care of the ‘mother’ and grow up with their siblings and friends. The Oberoi Group with SOS Children’s Villages provides for the upbringing and education to 210 parentless, homeless or abandoned children living in SOS Children’s Villages in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Jaipur and Kolkata. The Oberoi Group also sponsors higher education through Bachelors Programs of 61 youths at various professional institutes
