About The Hotel

Located at a stone of Bonifacio marina, the Hotel Version Maquis Citadelle is nestled in a green setting overlooking the famous City of Cliffs.

A low-slung and thoroughly modern restaurant forms its heart and is a destination in and of itself, while 22 suites are hidden among the protected maquis shrubland, each with their own terrace. Modern tonal suites have king-sized, four-poster beds and walk-in showers with organic Casanera products made from the essential oils of wild local myrtle and prickly pear.

Inspired by its unique position facing the wild nature, overlooking the Citadelle of Bonifacio, the new Spa Version Maquis brings all the energy and power of the Corsican maquis for a true moment of care and well-being.

Throughout the property the hotel has implemented low voltage lighting. Plastic has been eliminated from the property and the hotel is working with the suppliers to reduce excess packaging. The hotel is using eco-certified cleaning products and has banned single-use products. Restaurant ingredients are sourced locally and regionally while emphasizing sustainable, organic and seasonal products.
