Social Responsibility

In partnership with the Flying Horse Foundation, AltaGracia supports the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of both local youth groups and at-risk individuals. Horses infuse transformative power in EAL sessions and can change the lives of children and at-risk individuals with traumatic experiences, learning difficulties, depression and other conditions. Each session uses a curriculum driven program that focuses on connection, awareness, resilience, empathy and self-control. This program is offered by trained professionals through two-hour sessions for children ages 7 through 17, including local youth groups from Perez Zeledon and individuals from the greater San Jose region.
