About The Hotel

Habitas Namibia, a sustainable sanctuary located on a 47,000 hectare private estate, located 45 minutes from Hosea Kutako International Airport. It features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Each suitee at features a private deck, where guests can often catch sighting of the passing wildlife. All suites are air conditioned and have a bathroom with a shower. The property offers a multi-sensory experience, combining adventure, music, wellness and food.

Guests can enjoy activities including immersive safari drives, medicinal plant workshops, indigenous spa treatments and savanna yoga. There is a also communal fire pit and a swimming pool overlooking the Namibian landscape, where free-roaming animals including rhinos, wildebeest and zebra can be spotted.

Environmental and Social Responsibility

Habitas is committed to fulfilling the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goals for 2030. Construction methodology minimizes the environmental impact with modular construction allowing to build in an efficient way without compromising design integrity and guest experience. The resort is committed to eliminating single-use plastic throughout all resorts and have been awarded the Oceanic Champion Badge for adopting The Oceanic Standard. The team works with local organizations to manage excess waste as a result of daily operations by recycling and composting and has partnered with Cooperativo Ambio’s Scolel’te Program, supporting reforestation from proceeds from concerts and screenings. This initiative offsets carbon emissions from resort's operations. Habitas RISE supports Namibia’s communities by empowering locals through job opportunities and hospitality training.
