Sustainable Initiatives

Environmental Protection and Conservation

Constance Ephelia has been dedicated to mangroves planting and conservation. Both guests and community members, especially students for environmental education tours, learn about the contribution of mangroves in the global ecosystem. Regular planting excursions are organised by the hotel as part of their CSR responsibilities. The resort also boasts a mangrove nursery where all planted seeds are monitored helping in the propagation and rehabilitation of the seven different mangrove species growing in that area. The hotel’s newest addition is the new nature hike trail which allows guests to visit and connect with the fauna and flora in the surrounding – starting with a scenic route, the new hike ends at the highest viewpoint of the resort with the most breathtaking views. The hotel is a Gold member of the Green Globe certification with an average score of 90%. Both guests and team members at all hotels and resorts are encouraged to participate in green actions.
