About The Hotel

Surrounded by 140 hectares of vineyards with striking views, narrow streets, picturesque squares, a Romanesque chapel and shrines, Borgo San Felice is one the most charming sites in Chianti. Borgo San Felice was founded around the 8th Century and has hardly changed since. In 2010 it was restored and transformed into a 5-stars hotel, offering luxury accommodations that include 33 Guest Rooms and 20 Suites scattered throughout the buildings of the historic village. The rooms mostly have a crisp, fresh look. If you wish to bring the whole family or simply want more privacy, the resort offers two villas: Cassanova and Colonna, both just steps from the village.

Environmental Responsibility

Sustainability plays an essential role among the values promoted at Borgo San Felice. Zero Waste Hotel Certification, 100% renewable energy, green laundry and social farming projects are just some of the sustainable practices adopted at the Borgo. Borgo San Felice is participating in Food for Change campaign, an international fundraiser promoted by the Slow Food with the goal of promoting and celebrating sustainable productions in over 160 countries as well as the work of small-scale farmers, breeders and fishermen.

Community Minded

Borgo San Felice pursues social initiatives coordinated by the group’s Umana Mente (human mind) charitable foundation. The hotel operates the meticulously-designed “harvesting and gathering together” project, aimed at helping disabled young people grow in independence and confidence. Participants live and work together, staying as guests at the hotel, and take part in other activities and workshops. Borgo San Felice also offers work experience to young people from underprivileged or difficult backgrounds. Fresh and seasonal products of the Happy Garden are also used by hotel's Chefs at the Restaurants within the Borgo.
