About The Hotel

This design hotel is located in Harads, in the heart of Swedish Lapland floating on the Luleå River. The hotel features a restaurant, bar and a spa and wellness centre that offers 2 saunas, a steam sauna, 2 Jacuzzi's, a cold bath and treatments. Glass walls, floating walkways and sky-gazing decks connect the inside with the great outdoors – and take loft living to a whole new level.

Stepping out from your fire-warmed lodge could see you forest bathing, kayaking along Luleå River or exploring the wilder Storforsen Nature Reserve. And, of course, this is Northern Lights territory.

Environmental and Social Responsibility

Running on 100% renewable energy, natural fireplaces filled with recycled pellets can be found in the cosily kitted out cabins and saunas, while locally made kicksleds, snow-shoes and hiking sticks are available in-room for guests to explore the Swedish Lapland surrounds in a more eco-friendly way. Organic products by native Swedish brand c/o Gerd (based in the nearby village of Jokkmokk) are incorporated into a range of holistic treatments, from Swedish Arctic Massages to Julevädno sauna rituals. Here, sustainably sourced ingredients include wild reindeer meat, fish and foraged berries from neighbouring Norrbotten, while honey and hand-picked herbs hail from Vuollerim, washed down with personally selected wines or locally crafted beers from Piteå and Luleå. All hand-crafted dinnerware, vases, and candleholders are sourced from a little shop in Luleå, while the winterwear sold in the hotel’s boutique and at the village Christmas market is handmade by a local family.
