About The Hotel

COMO's white-sand private island escape in the Maldives is an intimate, romantic resort with 33 overwater villas above a turquoise lagoon. With COMO Cocoa Island located just a 40-minute speedboat ride from the international airport. Stroll down wooden walkways to your suite — with our one- to three-bedroom villas occupying the gently curved shapes of local 'dhoni' boats.

Resort's menus are modern, light and steeped in the nuances of South Indian cuisine. The kitchen also offers a contemportary interpretations of other Asian and Mediterranean classics.

COMO is committed to reducing use of precious natural resources and minimising impact on the environment. The resort manages their water and energy consumption by installing efficient equipment and fixtures. COMO sources locally whenever possible, supporting local producers, entrepreneurs, social enterprises and non-profit organisations. COMO runs a coral propagation programme at both COMO Cocoa Island and COMO Maalifushi, where you may sponsor and install coral frames and follow its progress online even after you leave.
