Four Seasons is committed to eliminating single-use plastics in the guest experience. All hotels around the world are taking steps to eliminate single-use plastics, including removing plastic water bottles and implementing large-format bathroom amenities.The Four Seasons offers vegan and vegetarian menu as well as responsibly sourced seafood. The hotel chain has set a food waste reduction and recycling program in place. Employees volunteer for quarterly beach cleanup days to protect marine life from plastic pollution. Guests can engage in educational tours at local, natural and cultural sites to learn more about the community, including visiting the Qatar National Museum, the East-West/West-East sculpture by Richard Serra and the local Souk Waqif,Employees complete annual Human Trafficking Awareness training.
